Welcome to the official website of Adrian Zalten

I am a pianist from Germany who studied Classical music and than switched to Jazz and Pop, and occasionally Latin music as well. I teach piano lessons, compose, and arrange music for bands and I am also interested in writing for the movie industry. On the other hand I design websites and do all sorts of Graphic Arts on the Mac. Everything is done in Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver and sometimes Flash. [PROJECT]

Welcome to the Americana at Brand. This is a Shopping/Living village that just opend up in Glendale, Los Angeles. It combines the ultimate experience of european living and service like in a hotel. Hilton Hotel in LA (comments)
April 5 , 2008

I had a nice time playing last night for the Mandarin Meetup at the Hilton Hotel in San Gariel, LA. I probably was the only western european person in the whole hotel and I enjoyed it. Hugo Miranda organized the event and had a pretty good crowed that listend to me playing a nice YAMAHA Grand Piano. At the end I even had to sign autographs for some CDs and that felt good and funny at the same time. So thanks again Hugo.

New Calendar (comments)
March 27 , 2008

I have a new calendar system that most of you already know probably. It is the Google Calendar and I have to say:" It looks good, it feels good and it is easy to maintain." I am starting to play in LA and decided to get a better way of showing were I play and when. It is worth checking the calendar since many things starting to happen here. Just click on EVENT in the navigation bar.

Tonight Show Band (comments)
March 14 , 2008

I had the chance to meet the Tonight Show Band that plays for Jay Leno on NBC. They played at the Baked Potato Club in Studio City this Wednesday night. I only can say that they are true artists when it come to play music. Most of the stuff was from Kevin Eubanks, the music director of the show. I even had a chance to talk to Gerry Atkins, the piano player for the band and I got some interesting things out of it. We talked about the Showbiz and how it is to be on the road. Anyway just wanted to drop that into my post section. Like I said stay tuned and thanks for stopping by.

Yes I am in LA! I never thought that this would happen but I decided to give it a try. I apologize for not emailing/responding to emails while I was trying to find a place. I am here with my family and already starting to get in touch with some people. So from now on I will post more from the Westside of the US. By the way I remastered the People Project Recital that I held at UT and will put it shortly. Thanks for your patience.
